“I want you to enjoy the practices of Mindfulness and Yoga. These are powerful tools to recover the energy, the enthusiasm, and the calm inside of you. When they are combined with nature and healthy food the results are magnificent. During this retreat we will walk through the foundations of mindfulness and the elements (as we are in a volcanic island we could enjoy the earth, the water, the air, the fire and the space).” Each day we will develop a theme about: - Connecting with the energy of the here and the now. - Connecting with sensations and feelings. Nursing Happiness. - Connecting the mind - Connecting with the heart - Connecting with the Whole We will combine the following practices: - Sitting Meditation: mindfulness breathing meditation, mountain meditation, heart meditation… - Mindfulness in daily life: turn an everyday action into a tool for mindfulness and stress reduction. - Walking Meditation: to bring body and mind in sync while we’re out and about. As we walk, we will imagine that we “print peace, serenity and happiness on the ground”. - Relational Mindfulness: Deepening our connections with ourselves, each other, and the planet - Yoga Practice: soft-intermediate vinyasa yoga practice and breathing.

Quinta da Paz is a traditional family house from 1905 located in front of the golf course fields, 5 minutes walk from the center of the village. It provides great privacy being outside overbuilt areas. The distance to Machico and Santa Cruz towns is about 9 km.
